I have worked for Daimaru Co., Ltd. and J. Front Retailing Co., Ltd., and since 2003, as an executive officer in charge of " costs", I have been striving to "cost reduction" in order to protect profits even if sales have decreased. I have come.

 

After that, in 2010, J. Front Retailing Co., Ltd. established JFR Consulting Co., Ltd., a consulting company for the purpose of cost reduction, moved the place of activity to the outside of the group, and opened a department store that is another company in the same industry. We have received the patronage of a wide range of clients, including manufacturers, the media, and schools, by implementing "cost reduction."

In August 2013, I retired from the president of JFR Consulting Co., Ltd., and in November of the same year, I established "Office Doi", which provides management consulting.

 

My idea of "cost reduction" is to eliminate unnecessary costs of companies and work to secure profits from the bottom of my heart, "I will not let you cut salaries!" I came here.

My cost reduction method is to identify the "elements that make up the cost" and change it to reduce the unit price or quantity of the cost. From my experience, "cost reduction" cannot be expected to produce great results no matter how hard you try in the "current values". In order to achieve great results by reducing costs, it is important to "change" the components of costs without being bound by the current situation, from the one point of "creating an optimal cost structure".

 

And as the know-how gained from the actual battle, "environmental improvement", "rules", "process" and "power" "condition setting" are indispensable for effective "cost reduction measures", and some good measures are made. However, it is difficult to achieve results without "environmental maintenance" and "condition setting".

 

We would be happy if we could share the "know-how" that we have cultivated so far with all the companies and people in charge, and help improve our business performance even a little.
